This week sees the addition of two new products on my site in the new associate composer/musician section.
The Paul Lennon showreel 2008 starts today with four current tracks - this will be expanded in the very near future.
The first of the albums is by John Goldman, a singer/songwriter, who is currently writing lyrics for not just one album but three that I'm composing the music for. His album is called Climbing by Starlight and features twelve self-penned songs. The download also comes with a pdf of the complete lyrics.
Howard Turner's band Ba-ba-da is the second of these albums available for download and this is a five-piece modern jazz band comprising Howard Turner - tenor sax, Geoff Castle - keyboards and vocals, Ric Morcombe - guitars, Rob Statham - bass, Clark Tracey - drums and Teena Lyle - percussion. Twelve compositions contributed by Geoff, Rob, Ric and Howard give this album a varied mix of styles.
Soon to be added to this site will be music resources, the first being a free pdf on How to Get Practising soon to be followed by books on rhythm, intervals and ear-training. I'm also preparing some books of piano and violin pieces for beginners.
